TREMAIL, DAVIDSTOW
The Granary is a charming inverted barn conversion situated in the rural hamlet of Tremail close to the North Cornish Coast. It has been sympathetically designed to retain its charm and character to include oak and stone lintels whilst also offering modern aspects such as underfloor heating via an air source heat pump and hardwood double glazing.
BODMIN MOOR
Bodmin Moor is within 1 mile away and has access to some of the finest walking in the West Country and includes the Crowdy Reservoir/lake home to a variety of bird species, including the grasshopper warbler, cuckoo and snipe. In winter, wildfowl are often out on the water, so keep a look out for teal and wigeon and enjoy walking amongst the free ranging Moorland ponies and sheep.
CAMELFORD
Camelford is a quaint little market town on the edge of Bodmin Moor. It has a diversity of charming little shops to explore as well as The North Cornwall Museum where you will also find Camelford Tourist Information Centre. 'Peckish Fish and Chips' is an award winning local take away food specialist and well worth a visit. There are supermarkets and a local butcher whilst only 7 miles away is the highly rated Boscastle Farm Shop and cafe.
BEACHES
Widemouth Bay with its huge sandy beach popular with surfers, is only 15 minutes away. Trebarwith Strand with its golden sands, exposed for 4-5 hours at low tide, is 18 minutes away and so is Crackington Haven, a lovely shingle cove dominated by majestic cliffs. 20 minutes away is the tiny hamlet of Port Gaverne with its beautiful sheltered cove and the small fishing village of Port Isaac and the infamous Doc Martin.
BOSCASTLE
Boscastle is a picturesque natural harbour and village. The Elizabethan quay sits in an impressive amphitheatre of steep cliffs and is home to quaint stone-built cottages, shops and tea-rooms. Much of the land in and around Boscastle is owned by the Trust.
TINTAGEL
Immerse yourself in history, myths and stunning scenery at Tintagel Castle, set high on Cornwall's rugged north coast, 15 minutes drive from The Granary. Inextricably linked with the legend of King Arthur, for centuries this dramatic castle and coastline has fired the imaginations of writers, artists and even the brother of a king.

Tintagel Haven beach and Merlin's cove are delightful little beaches and in the village itself, there are one or two potteries and galleries in addition to the many gift new-age shops, cafés and restaurants.
